Your January isn't as good as it looks. Your March isn't as bad as it looks.

Class packs get paid for in full, upfront, on day one. Your client then works through those sessions over the next two or three months. Annual memberships work the same way: one payment in January for value you're delivering all year long.

If your books only record cash as it hits the bank, all of that revenue lands in the month someone paid, not the months you earned it. So January looks huge. February looks fine. March, when renewals are slow and the January cash is long spent, looks like the studio is falling apart.

None of that is real. It's a timing problem, not a performance problem. But if your books don't account for it, the numbers stop meaning anything and you stop trusting them.

I set your books up to recognize class packs and memberships as they're used, rather than when they're paid for. That's what makes month-to-month comparisons tell you the truth about how the studio is doing.

What lands in your inbox every month

Same day each month, four things. You won't have to chase me or guess where the studio stands.

Reconciled books

Every bank and card transaction matched and categorized: Mindbody or Glofox payouts, merchant fees, payroll, the works. Nothing left in a mystery bucket.

Profit & loss statement

Revenue recognized the way you earned it, not the day it hit your bank, so month over month is a real comparison.

Balance sheet

What you own, what you owe, and how much of that January cash is deferred revenue you still owe in classes and sessions.

Studio Scorecard

A one-page read on the numbers that run a fitness business: revenue per member, class pack liability, membership attrition, and where the month landed.

Free, no obligation

See what your Scorecard would say. Free 15-minute Checkup.

Bring whatever your books look like right now, however messy. I'll spend fifteen minutes with your numbers and show you what a Studio Scorecard would tell you about the month you just finished. You'll see the format below, filled in with your own figures. If we're not a fit, I'll say so and you'll still have the read.

At this score the core is sound and one or two gaps hide part of the profit picture. Here, unredeemed class credits are not measured and sales tax has no written answer behind it, so two of the numbers the owner relies on cannot yet be backed up.

A real Checkup fills this in with your own figures, and the scorecard is yours to keep whether or not we work together.
